Indeed, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and to all.

Tis the season to spend the winter almost shut down as snow begins to shut down the roads up there. I might have some good news on that subject. I have been monitoring the weather up there and if comparing the climate of last year's long shut down with this year's climate so far, I have certain climate indicators I am beginning to believe in. Where I live there is a certain genus of butterfly that tells me by its behavior what kind of winter to expect. The past two winters have been horrendous and the butterfly warned me of what was coming. This year it has been telling me not to worry, everything will be normal. So far this butterfly has been a lot more accurate at predicting the coming season than the sapiens climatologists. Of course I have no idea whether my climate has any connection with the weather at Macbeth but I am eager to see. Also, it may not make any difference at Macbeth if it hasn't been rebuilt to run all year the way Sidney has. Since Macbeth is almost a mile above sea level, it might not be worth the effort to do so. They can store slop oil deliveries in the retention ponds until spring.
