Saddam is only one of many despots in the world today. Yes, he's a wild man, but IMHO Iraq is a minor power with a broken economy and poses no credible threat to the U.S. Saddam is little more than a pawn in this play. His regime is close to collapse. The main U.S. interest is making sure a pro-western regime replaces him.


The universe is mostly dark matter...
