anyone in any type of business knows that in most cases a Vendor cannot reveal customer information due to many legal and competitive reasons.
Here's an example:
Customer Jim Bob Motors has an inventory of 20,000+ Motorcycles and ATV's, Jim Bob Motors wants to gain a competitive advantage over their miggest competitor, Billy Bob Vehicles. That competitive advantage is Jim Bob Motors' plan to install Asset Trackers on all their inventory to attract more customer demand.
How would you like it if your Asset Tracker Vendor, NavStar Technologies in this case, revealed your business sales plans via a PR and screwed up your plan to grab market share from Billy Bob Vehicles??? Not too happy, I would imagine.
