You only see what you want to see
AB you seem to be saying that the PR I posted was just a slip of the tongue, an unintentional and inadvertent mistake. Well the same unintentional and inadvertent mistake has been repeated at LEAST 3 times:
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NowAuto (OTC:NWAU) today announced what is considered the most significant development in the company's history. Wholly owned subsidiary Navicom has been working for the past 5 months on the development and manufacturing of its own Telemetric and Telemetry product and state-of-the-art backend service.
According to the company (their words, not mine) the "most significant development in the company's history" is the "development and manufacturing" of gps. OK, but the problem is that Navicom is NOT a developer nor a manufacturer of gps. It seems the most significant development in the history of the company is really just buying a product, on a non-exclusive basis, and putting Navicom's brand on it. Can you honestly say that putting your brand on something is "development and manufacturing?" How do you develop proprietary technology without employing an engineer? How do you manufacture a product without a patent?
Another example:
"This type of exposure combined with our strategic focus and vertical integration, we expect to have monthly sales far exceeding 1,000 units per month by start of Q4." said Keith Tench, President of Navicom.
Do you know what "vertical integration" means? It is a term of art, in the field of technology, where a company proudly asserts that it independently controls a manufacturing process, from raw product to finished good. Now what control does Navicom have with its gps product. Does it perform research and development, does it design products, does it own intellectual property rights? Of course not. Once again, all it does is slap its name on a finished product. Vertical integration? Are you serious?
Another example from the Cos. MOST RECENT pr:
Navicom GPS is a wholly owned subsidiary which is in development and manufacturing of its own Telemetric and Telemetry product and state-of-the-art backend service
Again the Company falsely claims to be a manufacturer. How many times until you call a LIAR a LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
