Thanks for the info, I am surprised how differently our portfolios are performing. I'm up 36 % so far in 2005 and up 144 % since my August 16, 2004 low; I lost 36 % from the end of June until the 16th of August last year as I obviously fell asleep at the wheel (too much golf I guess).
Most of my current holdings are new within the last few months and there has been a substantial change in industry weightings. My current holdings by broad category are: 37 % technology, 30 % energy, 9 % medical/biom, 7 % mining (excluding gold), 6 % transportation, 5 % industrial automation, 4 % gold and 3 % leisure. No housing or retail at this time. Not very well diversified but anyway. Is your portfolio markedly different by broad category?
