Barack Obama’s 20-Year-Old Video as Law Review Editor Gets a YouTube Audience

Barack Obama achieved a brief moment of television fame 20 years ago when he talked about the life of lawyer Charles Hamilton Houston in a “Black History Minutes” public service announcement.
In the video, Obama praises Houston for masterminding the strategy that eventually led to the Brown v. Board of Education decision. According to the Daily Caller, Obama’s voice “is only marginally recognizable.” The story says his speech is “far lower-pitched and more measured than what Americans are accustomed to in 2011.”
