zit -- what I am looking for from mlsoft, or any other believer in the inerrantcy of the bible, is their scientific basis of the age of the world (and the universe)

Without 100s and 100s of millions of years, evolution could not have taken place

Since the discovery of the speed and components of light, and ever more powerful telescopes, the calculation of the age and size of the universe has been continuously refined. It is now calculated at 12 to 14 billions of years.

How do intelligent people disregard this science -

How do they continue to believe the earth/solar system is only a few thousand years old ?

As I said earlier, a group here in GA, wanted to insert this belief into the school system -- GA is already holds the bottom rank
