So, the issue isn't Sir H...

The issue is the intentional subversion of the proper process, which Sir H is participating in by doing what he is.

The committee HAS nominated a number of OUTSTANDING candidates... who are DEMONSTRABLY INDEPENDENT, not affiliated with the company in any way, AND who are not associated with any faction, and who are people it is reasonable to assume WILL operate in GOOD FAITH.

The problem is... one of the factions isn't ever going to be willing to tolerate ANYONE of whom that is true...

Criminals naturally don't like people who do think that "good faith" requires complying with the law...
