It’s highly unusual for a CEO to not be on the BOD. Ackerman resigned from the ELST’s BOD to facilitate compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.

Not a big deal, but it’s amusing that’s he the chairman of a minority-owned subsidiary but not on the BOD of his own company.
