Microfluidics Receives Two Additional Orders for Its M-700 Series Production Systems with Newly-Introduced Constant Pressure Option

Microfluidics Ships Second of Five Orders for it M-700 Series Constant Pressure Production Systems

NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 7, 2005--
MFIC Corporation (OTCBB: MFIC), the leading provider of high performance Microfluidizer(R) materials processing equipment, announced today that it has received two additional orders for its Constant Pressure M-700 series Microfluidizer(R) high shear fluid processor from a Japanese company. MFIC Corporation reported in its June 13, 2005 press release that additional orders from this Japanese customer were anticipated after performance testing was completed on a current order. However, the additional units reported today were ordered in advance of the customer's receipt of the first Constant Pressure equipped
Microfluidizer processor.

"This early response of five ordered M-700 series systems equipped with the Constant Pressure option is not only gratifying, but, we
believe, indicative of the potential demand that we will experience for such systems," stated Bob Bruno, MFIC's president and chief
operating officer.

"The orders and shipments of the M-700 series systems with the Constant Pressure Option reported today are proof positive of our
ability to listen to customers' needs and provide them with innovative solutions," stated Irwin Gruverman, MFIC's chief executive officer and chairman.

Mr. Gruverman added, "We anticipate realization of significant additional revenue enhancement in 2005 and beyond from bookings of
additional orders for the M-700 series systems with the Constant Pressure Option. The Constant Pressure Option is one of the products
of MFIC's reinvigorated R&D program that was accelerated in the second quarter of 2004, following our successful debt refinancing, equity offering and return to profitability. We will continue to innovate and to help make our customers more competitive and able to offer superior products," concluded Mr. Gruverman.

About the Constant Pressure Option

The Constant Pressure Option utilizes intelligent built-in pump position transducers that automatically adapt to changing requirements and easily maintain constant process pressure. This full digital control of the dual synchronous high pressure intensifier pumps ensures that the product flows at constant pressure and velocities through the interaction chambers. This control eliminates pressure spikes, provides extremely uniform processing, and permits the M-700 system to operate more quietly and efficiently.
The M-700 Constant Pressure Option is available for sale worldwide and is compliant with both domestic and foreign regulatory
requirements. M-700 Series Microfluidizer(R) processors offer a wide range of industrial capabilities, with pressures up to 40,000 psi and a variety of options including clean-in-place, steam-in-place, full processing isolation, and full automation.
