I think BIOD is looking like M&A or bust.

I think you may be right or otherwise partnership or bust. I'm only still holding on to my small position because they do have cash to get them through to March 2013, there is still at least the potential that they do have something in their analog program (I'm entirely discounting the RHI program now after the recent setback), and the fact that market cap is so low at ~$30M that there are hardly any expectations at all baked into the share price. It's clearly a boom or bust play over the next year to year and a half though. I'm at least a little bit encouraged that their biggest competitor in HALO doesn't seem to be hinting at an imminent partnership. Whether that ends up boding well for BIOD or just simply means that there in general isn't interest there for an ultra-fast acting insulin from a potential big pharma partner remains to be seen of course.
