Thanks, F6, it's a good one .. there are a few bits worth bringing out, but i settled on this one from page 2 ..

"his [Bush's] focus, he writes, “had been kitchen-table economic issues like jobs and inflation" ..

hmm, he didn't do much of a job on "jobs" .. as we have seen posted here before ..

i won't read his memoir, but one day maybe one or more of the others mentioned in the article ..
