It depends doesn't it? You posted the map of school shootings. How many were by Muslims in this country? How many crimes a day are committed by this group? What is the meaning of the words like jihad, infidel, gentile etc?

The difference between your world view and mine is that I don't want to define the human race in terms of hate groups. I don't assume the blame is all on one side. I would rather try and find resolution than worry about the histrionics.

Some people argue that all the worst parts of modern Islam come from the central Asian tribes that overwhelmed the middle east and eastern Europe between the middle ages and the first world war. Maybe that is why Osama finds a home in Afganistan and not in Saudi Arabia. Who knows?

You like to latch on to terms like dhimitude but the exact same conditions existed all over Europe at the same time. Special taxes, special rules and the consequences were always far more violent in places like Spain, Sicily, Lithuania, etc in the west. It isn't because of their treatment in Iraq that the Zionists wanted a safe haven in the first place.

So let's stop playing this blame game and let's settle the problem. The war crowd likes to pretend that Iraq is the reason behind the changes in the ME. Maybe that is part of the reason. I tend to think it has more to do with trying to resolve the Palestinian problem.
