The statement you quoted was sort of true, wasn't it?

Professionals evaluate the ability and the disability of each patient. When possible technical assists are implemented in order to give the patient control of the chair according to his abilities. That's what the "sip and puff" does for paraplegics.

Robotic assisted power wheelchairs will be another tool for those professionals to use, increasing not only the number of people that can use a power wheelchair, but the quality of use for many people already using them.

Simple statements made by people who are not well informed about the issues here aren't very helpful. I would love it if we could get a few differently abled investors involved in this conversation.

I have some personal health issues that help me empathize, but no direct experience of what it is like to depend on a wheelchair for day to day mobility.
