Spek may not be posturing, but it doesn't necessarily mean there is going to be a price war either. I personally would favor a bit of gentle competition as it may be in both SNY and Sandoz's long-term interest to avoid…getting an anti-competition rap.

That’s an excellent point, IMO. The newfound aggressiveness of the anti-competition cops makes tacit collusion a dangerous game for both parties.
