Creation is indeed flawed, but it was not always so. When God finished His creation He looked upon it and said "it is good", meaning that it was without flaw in any respect. God however, for His own reasons which we cannot understand, intentionally allowed His created beings (angels and men) the ability to choose between obeying or disobeying Him (good and evil) and some angels and all men chose to disobey Him, which bought evil into the creation and caused God to put a curse upon the earth until Christ comes back to redeem the world from Satan.
