What a nice experience it is rolling out 1000+ Stain Remover with our new store friends at Do it Best. In October, Winning Brands attended its first Do it Best Fall Market to introduce 1000+ Stain Remover. Orders were received at the market too, not merely discussions. Our Retail Support Manager, Deberah Ruddy, has been calling dozens of those stores – the first ones who placed their orders with us at the market. Her goal was to learn, in the case of every one of these new retailers, whether the promised goods arrived, have they been put on the shelves yet and what the early experiences are.
It’s a joy to see Deberah being able to reach the stores for live conversations and to be given so much detailed (and positive feedback) about the experience from the stores’ point of view. The following are typical comments by the store owners/managers. The gist is that product is arriving and stores are deploying internally to best effect. When the numbers grow from 100 stores, to 1,000 such stores and then to “thousands” a wave of 1000+ brand awareness will result. Never before in the years that we have been working up to this level, has there been such engagement with U.S. retailers.
Shipment arrived, will place on end cap and cleaning aisle
Have it in the cleaning aisle with the carpet stain remover, will cross merchandise further
Have it on an end cap and use 1000+ in the store
Asked why one bottle has a Ghana label. (Oops, that was a mistake by us in the warehouse – took corrective action)
Have placed it up front
Received, but haven’t unpacked yet
Have it at front counter – would like 50 brochures
Unpacked, checked OK and will cross merchandise
On an end cap, is DVD available?
Received – with paint and cleaning products
Got it OK. On an end cap. 4 sold already.
No problem. On the counter in the Paint Department
On an end cap and Paint Department and Plumbing Department
Product received OK. Waiting for display rack.
Haven’t received yet, but would like our Testimonial Book and brochures for Ladies Night coming up

When seeds are planted, a crop can grow. All you need are the right conditions and plenty of hard work. Looked at in this way, success is not a fluke. You don’t have to rely excessively on luck as the operative element. Success can be a natural consequence of the right behaviour. That’s one of the things that I am so proud of about this company, its staff and its shareholders. We are building it together – and it will happen. It’s only natural that it should.
