Look at a 1 year chart of wal mart- does that look like a growth company to you??
The stock split and dividend announcement before the earnings report are an old trick to deflect attention and had exactly the effect you might expect.
Are you saying that in the current environment msft and wmt are good buys for price appreciation in the future?
