If its not case law now , what is it ? if you can find the statutory rules, then you should have helped the Govt. win instead of lose.
I have hired and fired numerous CPAs in my time, attorneys too.
I take offense to your statement "recaps if you want to see what they can do when citizens believe and act on the crap you have posted"
Cpa's count beans in one form or another, and it sounds like you support taking 30% of a persons labor, to keep a large portion of your "profession" employed to keep the IRS system status quo.
I support a sales tax with allowances for food, medicine, etc., as exemptions and do away with the ephemeral quagmire of the IRS code.
Think how much better off we would be and the money we would save doing away with wasted billions spent on IRS employees, and wasted dollars on CPAs too.
Accountants have their place in cost accounting and efficient production and business management calculations, but the perpetuation of the tax code is a huge problem. imo.
