What do you call killing people with unmanned drones? Religion of peace, democracy, just a nice thing to do to others?

Just because you kill people on a video type game doesn't mean you're not a terrorist. Why is it when one does it face to face it's evil, and when one does the killing remotely it is praised?

It is somewhat of a riddle to me.
