Its definitely worth holding for the long term. Remember, you're betting on the guy that led the team that developed flash memory. Not to mention the other members of NewCardio and their accomplishments. They aren't accustomed to failing and I doubt they will fail with this one.
The present economy is their worst enemy. Investors are staying away from 'risk'. And biotech startups are the poster child for risky investments. When the economic climate improves, which it always does, they will most likely get the financing they need to move forward.
