If we learn one lesson about our "adventures" in areas of the world that have no relevance to the security or interests of the USA, it should be: DON"T. Grab yourself a copy of the book, Culture Matters. It's an excellent explanation of why ethnic groups, tribes, people from different cultures act the way the do and why we waste our time in our little forays. I'm sure that not much will change in the Balkans.
