While I definitely doubted it, as I still think almost all are trash, some will get through. The thing is that with the ones that are legit, they will go private which minimizes the upside for these companies while taking a huge risk in investing in them. I also dont think most of the shorts, at least the smart ones, got hurt too badly as the price, besides a couple of downturns, was above $20. So, besides fees, I dont think most got hurt too badly with this and think it was worth the risk to short for those that did above $20.
