Recent example: Gov George Pataki (R-NY) is seeking a waiver from military service for his son who recently graduated college and was in the ROTC.
Young Pataki now wants to go to law school but ROTC regs say he must serve the country, so daddy - who supports GWB's war (obviously for others to fight) - is seeking an exemption for him.
