This is the boat many of us are in. There is an investment advisor out there competing for my business and now that my wife has retired i have to consider a more rational approach to the markets. The advisor thinks tech will continue to underperform. I have been waiting for a comeback since 2000 in my chip heavy tech portfolio. I keep waiting for one more run and own stocks like amat which at 16 is nowhere compared to many other segements of the market and also down 10 points from its recovery highs. Many of the others are in the same boat. What to do?
