Our local store recently stopped carrying a certain brand of organic beef. When I talked with the manager of the meat dept. about it, he recommended I call corporate and not talk to anyone at the local store....

Even if the stores we are approaching only have 2-3 locations, I would talk with their headquarters. If we just talk to the store, we are depending on that manager to make the effort to contact their headquarters, which he/she may never do. I would suggest we go as close to the source with authority as possible. If you are comfortable talking to the buyers or purchasing dept., I would even do that. Certainly customer recommendations for products can be made to corporate. Just my thoughts... Good luck and go SMKY!!
