Exactly. We are hopeful that this will give many different people the opportunity to participate in a Mod role if they'd like to do so.

We are also hopeful that the new system will get Mods across the boards that are, at the very least, not people who routinely violate the rules of the site themselves. When that happens, it makes it really hard for other Users to understand what the rules really are and gives the impression that Mods aren't bound by the TOU.
