Look , you were the one who stated this "

" We never are defeated militarily, just politically. In WWII the gloves were off. Since then we have to "fight nice". If we had bombed Hanoi and the North the way the generals wanted, the Vietnam War would've been over in about 6 months from the commencement of carpet bombing. We play too nice with our adversaries.
