I think you are talking about our ally Saudi Arabia rather than Iran. There are more women in univeristies in Iran than men, more women engineers than men, a great number of women don't wear burkas there. Also, women drive and are involved in politics in Iran, and are part of the work force, much like America. Focus more on why we support the head chopper Muslims in Saudi Arabia. The Iranian Muslims are quite civil and cultured.
