I would bet $1B that a statistical comparison vs. copaxone was performed. Just because it wasn't pre-specified doesn't mean it wasn't performed.

Such a test was not performed as a formal part of the CONFIRM study. It was presumably done informally, as discussed in #msg-68377541.
