We remember the same events. It is my belief that because the board upheld the 2:1 Ariad ratio, not the 10:1 or so HB wanted, and HB's desire to own more, knowing what was coming with Pona, et al, led to his big buy. The fact that surely HB knew dilution was coming, regardless of the ratio outcome, didn't hurt him, as it would lower his purchase price.
