Personally, I believe we do need more troops in Iraq and I favor sending them, but I have no military training and do not know the true situation on the ground so my opinion on the subject is no more than just that -- an opinion. I do know that to send more troops would create a political problem here at home as it would be be gleefully used by the left against Bush.
