I've been on IH since it was launched, and on RB since '98, and yet I have no idea how Mod Squaders are found and/or recruited

Pretty simple I suspect ie:

1. One sends a PM to ADMIN asking to be an MUDDER. They either get accepted or, after ADMIN recovers from laughing hysterically at the request, get a polite rejection PM. or
2. ADMIN asks someone if they are interested in helping out as a MUDDER.
