This is where we see it as "broken".

There are thousands of stock specific boards here. The site was designed and still needs to be a self policing site. As we grow, there is simply no way that 4 Admin can maintain the oversight needed to keep the chaos at bay.

Currently a board that has 7 Mods on it, may have one or two active Mods and 1 or 2 that Mods that routinely violate the rules or remove messages they shouldn't. The others delete a message when extreme but pretty much otherwise go about their business. Admin or MS on these boards typically are the ones that are actively Moderating the board. That's broken, imo.

Clearly, a Mod violating the rules he/she is in place to enforce just makes it confusing for all other Users. We need to as much as possible, restrict ppl getting a Mod spot if they don't understand the rules here themselves and/or are not willing to abide by them.

We have thousands of Users here who have never Moderated a board and have no idea how to go about it with the current system. We're hoping those that have the time and interest will now be able to step up more easily.
