Dream on.

You know full well that both liberal and conservative politicians - unfortunately - have introduced many pieces of legislation in order to add to the aid and comfort of the unfortunate. It is nice and touchy feely. But, it accomplishes little.

Bush has introduced no child left behind and has given much help to fight aids in Africa. There are literally hundreds of such programs out there.

Conservatives, however, as an ideology, believe opportunity is the best social program. Not a government hand-out. To judge a conservative by a liberal measure of how much programs they pushed for is hypocritical.
