Excellent explanation and a shameful practice for Ameritrade to 'overprotect' their clients once again. The T/A verifies the shares, the (always legal) mm's perform the transactions, the company fully reports, there is NO extreme hanky panky going on in the day to day trades, but Ameritrade makes a unilateral decision. Finding a non-penson, non- amtd linked brokerage to go out on a limb and warranty that their trades are legitimate may be tough..........

Shameful, but that is the arena we are playing in here.
