Mr. Cunningham is co-founder and President of Touchstone Group, LLC an institutional placement agent that raises institutional capital for alternative investment managers across the liquidity spectrum, from illiquid venture capital and private equity strategies to highly liquid hedge fund strategies. Touchstone has represented clients headquartered around the world, and focuses its capital-raising efforts on institutions located primarily in North America and Europe. Touchstone's principals have helped raise over $3 billion in institutional capital. Previously, Mr. Cunningham co-founded and served as President of Benson, White & Company, an investment management firm that developed and managed the first target-date, life-cycle mutual funds, and advised pension fund trustees on asset-liability and governance issues. Prior to Benson White & Company, he served as President of Springhouse Associates, Inc. an investment consulting firm advising a number of large institutional investors on their private equity asset allocations and manager selection. In this capacity, he was the limited partner representative on a number of private equity fund advisory boards. In 1983, Mr. Cunningham co-founded and managed a group of venture capital funds affiliated with the former regional investment bank, Butcher & Singer, Inc. headquartered in Philadelphia. In this capacity, he invested in many different industries including: telecommunications, integrated circuits, medical services, co-generation, and retailing. He has co-authored two books on investing and holds a Masters of International Management (with honors) from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA from Williams College (magna cum laude with highest honors). Mr. Cunningham holds active FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 registrations and reads and speaks Spanish.
