I emailed the writer of the Viacom/CBS/Proelite article asking for an update and he responded with this...

Apparently TJay wasn't impressed with the story and is paranoid we have a mole inside PE HQ since we also got the scoop on Sylvia fighting in the next show and the location of the event. He is claiming behind closed doors that our piece may negatively impact the deal with Viacom, but I'm told it's very much alive and likely to be announced in the next month or so. What's holding it up is the negotiations with Strikeforce, which are apparently just for show as Showtime wants nothing to do with Dana.


Once I get confirmation I'll have an update up on the site.
