I have no idea what you're talking about, just spit it out.

We have x number of military bases here at home. Some of those
250,000 overseas could be reassigned to one of those. If there
is not enough room for them all on existing bases, then a solution
will need to be found, maybe border duty, maybe another base. God
knows they already have the land.

They're already getting paid, let them guard the borders or do
something equally useful and let them spend their paychecks
here benefiting our economy, not some foreign economy.

I see no insurmountable consequences from bringing the troops home.

So, pray tell what is the great consequence that is so dire it
can't be fixed and is so severe you are reluctant to even name it?
