Dialysis Like Therapeutics Kickoff
October/18-19/2011
Hosted by: DARPA
Conference Being Held at:
Coronado Island Marriott
2000 Second Street
Coronado , CA, 92118
Announcement:
September 13, 2011
Dear Colleague:
The DARPA/MTO kick-off meeting for the Dialysis Like Therapeutics (DLT) program has been scheduled for October 18-19, 2011, at the Coronado Island Marriott in San Diego, CA. The primary purpose of this meeting is to acquaint the government personnel involved in the administration of DLT with the breadth and scope of the program. The other goal is to familiarize the participants in the program with each others’ projects, with the view that any informal exchanges that might take place at the meeting could lead to potential collaborations and beneficial interactions among the teams. During the meeting, each Principal Investigator will be required to give an overview presentation of their team’s proposed work. Because this meeting and all subsequent program review meetings constitute an on-going evaluation by the government personnel of the relevance of the projects in the program to DARPA, all program participants are strongly encouraged to attend.
This is an unclassified meeting, with attendance limited to government personnel, DLT participants, and select invited guests. This meeting will be business casual (leave the suits and ties at home).
Please complete the on-line registration form accessible at http://safe.sysplan.com/mto/dlt to confirm your attendance. Registration fees, which will NOT be charged until after the meeting, can be paid on-line using a credit card (MasterCard, Visa or American Express). Alternatively, you may register on-line, present credit card information at the meeting, or mail a check or money order.
Please be advised that you are responsible for making your own lodging arrangements at the Coronado Island Marriott NO LATER THAN September 19, 2011. Due to the number of activities in the San Diego area at the same time, hotel space is very limited. The block of rooms reserved for the DARPA/MTO DLT Kick-off Meeting at the hotel will be released on the 19th of September, 2011; so I urge you to call the hotel as soon as possible. Inform the hotel that you are with the "DARPA Meeting."
If you have any further administrative questions concerning the meeting, please contact either Miss Mary Palmer at 703-351-8479 or at mary.palmer.ctr@darpa.mil of System Planning Corporation.
I look forward to seeing you at the Dialysis Like Therapeutics Kickoff Meeting.
Sincerely,
Tim Broderick
