Oh, now I'm a LOT less intimidated about the cars we'll be driving. Was a bit nervous when I was thinking we were dealing with power-to-weight about 4 times what I'm used to.

Sounds like these'll be more along the lines of what my A-Sedan is like when it runs right. 380 (claimed) horses and 3060 lbs. I'm much more accustomed to my 240-horse 3300-lb car, so these will be a bunch faster but shouldn't scare the heck out of me. I hope. hehe

Sounds like the biggest difference for me will be driving something that actually has useful brakes.

Noticed they provide helmets and suits. Tempted to bring my own helmet since it fits *perfectly* and I'm real picky about that, but might be able to just show up with my shoes and gloves. I prefer to travel as light as possible, and a helmet sure does take up a lot of space.
