MULLAH WHO STOLE THE ELECTION IN IRAN
Jun 23, 2005
FARHAT QUAEM MAQUAMI

Nearly 51 years ago American CIA agents shamelessly arranged a coup to overthrow the democratically elected, secular government, of Mohammed Mossadegh in Iran and subverted a blossoming civic society and changed it into a dictatorial regime. It seems that every generation thereafter that carried Iranian aspirations for justice, freedom and real social change would also be hijacked by the CIA and its paid agents.. This time is no exception. The Iranian regime's corruption, political inaptitude, economic grievances, along with a combined variety of social problems has provided a window of opportunity and a perfect political storm for another American instigated sabotage for regime change. The final ingredient that CIA agents in Iran need is a presidential candidate who challenges a corrupt electoral system to make a "Hijab Revolution" possible.

It seems Mullah Rafsanjani, who now goes by his Corporate name "HASHEMI" convinced the ruling hierarchy of the Mullahs that the only way to preserve the political system which guarantees Mullah's economic security is to make cosmetic changes. Coming from behind, with a dismal economic record for Iran during his administration, He had no chance compare to reformist candidates who were pushing for referendum . Yet the billionaire mullah cleverly sabotaged the electoral system, by adopted reformists slogans, and switching ballot boxes so eliminate his formidable opponents without being blamed for it and finally inventing a discredited straw candidate to ensure victory.

MAGIC OR ELECTION FRAUD

WHAT seemed to the outsiders and critics alike an election irregularity has turn out to be an election Coup. Rafsanjani pulled a fast one. Iranians voted but Rafsanjani's goons magically eliminated his reformist candidates and put a fundamentalist for Friday's run off election. Fearing a reformist (Karrobie) victory, it is quite possible that the billionaire Mullah Rafsanjani subverted the electoral process to bring an unexpected so-called hard liner and a business partner (Ahmadi Nejad) for the final face-off. The "Motor Bike"? preacher from the little town of Rafsanjan, is a master of Machiavellian politics. With his behind the scene manipulation of the political apparatus of the regime he is the sole beneficiary of the fraudulent switch of runner-ups. He subverted the reformist eminent victory without being blamed for it. That is copy cat version of how Republican strategists stole the 2004 Election from democrats. They subverted Iowa primary so Dean would not run against George Bush and put an indecisive "unelectable"? Kerry against Bush to assure victory. It seems Electoral Treachery is not an American monopoly. Millionaire Mullah is the Iranian trickster! This was a clever strategy on his part. The hard liners are happy because they are in the game running, with an inflated 30 per cent of the vote reformist candidate is thrown out because he could not qualify for the run-off by almost 30 percent of the vote. The hard liners have lost face as treacherous, cheaters and perpetrators of fraud and oppression. In the run-off Rafsanjani, is being promoted by his skateboarding call-girls and paid drug-users youth as the only candidate for hope and possibly cosmetic social changes. He is being marketed under the new and improved corporate brand name "HASHAMI"? to ensure that his policy of "Wealth Transfer", "Capital Flight" and globally bankrupt policy of "Privatization", i.e. guaranteed global corporate ownership of the means of production and Iranian resources would continue. Karrobie is being pressured to recant his charges of fraud for preservation of the united front of Mullahs!

The whole system of fraud would possibly lead to Rafsanjani assuming the presidency. This is Iran's Choice and no one has any right to interfere or cast an opinion on who is better or who could have been worse for Iran. If 32 million Iranians are blinded by faith and vote for the person who has brought corruption and economic destruction to Iran, so be it. Eventually, whosoever, gets elected by 30 per cent of the vote would become Iran's choice an must be respected. Karrobi, who might have had a great point in voter's fraud, could have become a rallying point for the opposition; but Mullah code of silence put him to rest. Unless fundamentalists pull the impossible magic and pull Ahmadi Nejad out of the ballot box, Rafsanjani would become the president and would continue his mission to privatize Iran's public assets and facilitates its transfer to global corporations. No decent Iranian should seek a CIA revolution in Iran which might prematurely push Iranian to another abyss by promising Freedom and delivering terror. SEAN PENN and GEORGE BUSH should best worry about many evils in their own country, before taking-up Iran. Indigenous Iranians, not the traitors Mujahedin or hyphenated Persian speaking outsiders, would spontaneously revolt against corruption and exploitation, at their own pace. It is obvious election irregularities happens. Indeed, election fraud has been the hallmark the past two American elections. George Bush, who himself was selected by the supreme Court even if he lost the popular vote, should never give democracy lessons to Iranians. Whatever more that 32 million eligible voters do in Iran is neither America's business nor any business of more than two million expatriates who are citizen of other countries. They are welcome in Iran as tourists but they have no right to dictate what Iranians want and who they select. Rafsanjani might be the lesser of 1000 evils but if he is the electorate's choice so be it. Facing our own evil alone is the first step toward out psychological and political liberation.Iranians know very well that outsiders who speak Persians are no different from Chalabi and Alawii and other imported puppets that America gifted to Iraq.

Even if 50 per cent of Iranians don't participate in election that should not pose any problems. In the so-called cradle of Democracy in the past two election less than 60 percent went to the poll and out of the actual participants only 50 per cent voted for George Bush, that means he got elected only by 30 per cent of the actual eligible voters. That means a significant majority of 70 per cent of population of the US were either against him or were apathetic. Yet, this is the so-called Democracy that America is trying to shove to the world. Corporate dictatorial Rule of an elite under the guise of Democratic election is hypocrisy rather than Democracy.

Persian speaking Americans or any other hyphenated Persian speaking residents of other countries better sip their Vodkas and Latt's and do not interfere in Iran's affair. They are culturally, religiously, psychologically and socially alien to the majority of Iranians. They should have best wishes for Iranians and hope the next revolution be indigenous, rather than guided by the CIA or the Center for the Endowment of Democracy, which is specialized in financing and instigating university students. At this time it seems that CIA has accepted the voters fraud as the necessary evil and have their student agents to support Rafsanjani. The timing of "Hejab Revolution"? depends on his success in pulling the "Hejab" down!. It is all about cosmetic changes, solution for the economic exploitation, moral corruption, lack of social services, abject poverty and suffering for the majority of Iranian would not come out the ballot boxes, It would be decided by a real revolution, which hopefully would not be made in America.
