Outstanding! I have never heard that before. We could sure use some more like Horatio Bunce! Not to mention more Crocketts.
A hero not only to the people of Tennessee but we hold him in high regard here in Texas as well.
He fought directly under another huge hero of mine, Andrew Jackson, in the war of 1812.
I wonder if he is even mentioned in modern history books by our fine educational system. Probably not!
