Has anybody seen any good analysis of what Socket F will feature?

Personally, I think it will do not much more than add/widen memory and/or HTT interfaces, while bringing them up to spec (I.e. upgraded HTT, DDR2.)

It will probably add support to switch off memory channels (w/hooks for OS) to allow hot swap of memory modules. Ditto for HTT channels, allowing hot-swap of processor/memory modules in a modular multi-socket system.

I also expect that current HTT devices/chipsets will be fully supported, eliminating the age-old problem of bringing up all-new infrastructure.

Edit: Just read the posts subsequent to the one this replies too, and the threads they link to... Make that "DDR2, etc." above... :)
