Yeah, you've been spot-on with your chart analysis, no doubt! I just don't get how the tightening of the bollinger bands can predict what people will do. Sure, if a long suddenly decides to sell 100k+ shares at the bid, we'll see what happened today. How did the chart "know" that would happen? What if the person just woke up this morning and said "I'm sick of losing money in my other stocks, I'm gonna sell 125k shares of Smoky today and get some money back." How can anyone, or anything, predict that? Or what about an MM shake? If what happened today was just manipulation on the part of the MMs in an effort to get cheap shares from shaky holders, can that be predicted by chart analysis?
