Southern California's rare squid invasion a bizarre nighttime spectacle

The rare invasion of perhaps millions of large and ravenous squid off Southern California has been more like a blitz, with the
slithery cephalopods showing first off San Diego (last week) and advancing at least as far north as Santa Barbara (this week).

Irregardless of the danger involved Jon Schwartz swam amongst the squid and shot some cool pictures .. see inside ..

LOl .. they are not as amazing as these jellyfish ..



but are cool nonetheless so 'ave a lookeeeeeeee ..
