WOW! That is deeply troubling. Why weren't the students just kicked out of the meeting???

If the law was applied equally just think how many TeaParty people could have been charged and convicted for the same reasons.

Ooi, is this of the type of a criminal conviction which could prohibit those convicted of entrance to Canada?

Am thinking maybe YES it would, but am still not 100% , even after glancing at this .. one bit ..

"Section 19(2)(a.1) of the Immigration Act of Canada states that persons convicted of an offence outside of Canada, that
would be an offence under Canadian law, cannot be admitted to Canada. Criminally inadmissable persons can, however,
apply for a special permission to enter Canada. This special permission is expressed by a Minister's Permit."

Hmmmm .. 'conspiracy' must be an offense under Canadian law, and despite the circumstances that was the conviction.
