Gold is only down 5.06% today so it's not really that dramatic. Long term technical trend is still firmly intact. Gold is also up huge on the year. In fact you could argue that this is a healthy pull back of sorts. Volatility to be expected. Support at 1650/1600 will be holding strong IMO. There will be some good buying opportunities in the days and weeks to come in all commodities and especially the metals sector.
