Simcor sales are pretty small, so ABT probably isn’t losing any sleep over this. There are 8 Simcor patents listed in the Orange Book (http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cder/ob/docs/patexclnew.cfm?Appl_No=022078&Product_No=001&table1=OB_Rx ), so this might not be the easiest case for the unnamed challenger to win.
