While I agree with a number of the facts behind the 'audits delayed due to lack of money' idea, I'm not entirely convinced that it's the actual cause of the delay (but let's just spitball scenarios for old times sake). For starters, he shelled out a couple thousand dollars to make us 'current' on pink sheets, which is money he must not have needed for auditors then, so I think it's safe to say that some cashflow is flowing and the problem is not financial (unless the auditors jacked up their price at the midway after determining how bad the record keeping of SDVI was and how much time it would take them). Ken said numerous times that the auditors were almost finished, that they emailed him saying they were almost finished, only to ask for more numbers/figures later on. Assuming we're not in the "Ken lies about everything" camp (which instead leaves most of us in the "Ken overpromises too much" camp), that's not something that one does when they are waiting for payment. I've checked out a few other stocks in the past few years that have used M&K and their audits get done promptly and on time (even some fellow 0.0004 PPS public companies:). Seems most likely that the delays and ultimate blame are a result of poor accounting records kept by SDVI, possibly inflamed by the GRAFF/SDVI spinoff, switch from developer to publisher, etc etc. In any case, I hope they include the newest Q3 figures in these audits, which originally were just supposed to be a 5 year history starting with 2010. If you assume it takes them at least 30 days to do an SDVI Quarter, then full Q3 and prior could come at the earliest by late October/November. Ack! :S
A one year timing for completion of the whole-shebang (audits, re-merger/R/S, uplist/IPO) is probably not overly pessimistic too. Double-ack!!
Focusing on the business and ignoring the GRAFF/SDVI dichotomy issues:
Anyone hear why the 40k order to "Canada" fell through for RR (or at least has not been spotted in any particular stores)? I'd like to know how much of our order problems stems from lack of finance vs lack of clout to get the games into the stores. The parent's choice awards is a fine though expected addition; has anyone in the US seen a copy sold with packaging updated to show the newest awards? I don't think it'll make a huge difference to sales, unless it's blared out loud in a commercial or retailer in-store promotions, flyers, etc. It could help get into educational stores though more specifically.
But for now, it's just a waiting game as precedent node 'a' (for audits of course:) holds up the critical path of project SDVI. lol
Cheers,
Saredi
